Man that pisses me off...they are reaping the benifits of NEWS.. Both the Oil companies and the media outlets can go fuck themselves!
I have been saying for years that if I went such a lazy fatss I could buy a bicycle and get to and from work as quick if not quicker. I live just under 8 miles from the office and during NoVA Rush hour it takes about 1.25 hours to drive.
Think im gonna buy a bicycle this weekend.
Wouldn't quite work for those of us in cooler climates... but it doesn't take me over an hour to get to work, either...
Honestly, if there's anything like a decent bike path system around where you are, it may take LESS time, with the bonus of getting healthier. B)
Yup, they mention that all the oil companies will make a 50% profit this year from their oil over last year, not just Exxon.
I live about 8 miles away from my job also, but only takes me 10 min to get there from my house.
As I have stated before, get rid of your trucks, SUV's or if your car is a gas guzzler if you don't need them for what they are for and get an ecomony car. Or just do what I do, just don't go out and spend the gas. Sit home and do other things and try to limit your time.
I still have over 3/4 of a tank of gas that I filled up last Friday in my car.
