I used to be a huge Chuck Norris fan. It's not that I think any less of him now, I just really don't care anymore.
Anyway, Chuck Norris was the 1968 Professional World Middleweight Karate Champion, holding the title undefeated until he retired in 1974. He kicked ass in the ring at a time when champion Karate fighting was pretty brutal. He's for real.
